Biography
Patty and her husband have been married for 26 years and have 2 daughters. Their oldest is a nurse and lives on her own.
Their youngest is 21 years old and was diagnosed with hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS) caused by E.coli when she was 13 months old. HUS occurs when the small blood vessels in the kidney becomes damaged and inflamed. It causes long-term kidney issues.
Patty’s daughter is currently eligible for a kidney transplant. She also has several other medical issues such as uncontrolled seizures, physical and mental limitations, as well as dietary restrictions due to kidney disease.
In addition to being a wife and mother, Patty is also a writer and encourager. She writes about life with a special needs child, life on the “farm,” and just life in general.
She is actively involved with Branch15, a faith-based organization that helps women on their journey to wholeness and sustainable living.
Patty leads/facilitates women’s Bible study groups in addition to doing one-on-one mentoring.
Her hope is to encourage other women by sharing the lessons God has taught her through every season and circumstance of her life.
She enjoys seeing women living in the life, light and liberty of Jesus in spite of difficult situations.
She’s currently working on her life’s memoir and hopes to have it published soon.
